Author: Jimmy Akin
Jimmy was born in Texas, grew up nominally Protestant, but at age 20 experienced a profound conversion to Christ. Planning on becoming a Protestant seminary professor, he started an intensive study of the Bible. But the more he immersed himself in Scripture the more he found to support the Catholic faith, and in 1992 he entered the Catholic Church. His conversion story, "A Triumph and a Tragedy," is published in Surprised by Truth. Besides being an author, Jimmy is the Senior Apologist at Catholic Answers, a contributing editor to Catholic Answers Magazine, and a weekly guest on "Catholic Answers Live." This is AWESOME!
[Of course, one wonders who is behind the camera and why that person is not helping her … 😉 ]
Love your work.

Let this be a lesson to all the young ladies broken down on the side of the road. More importantly, let this be a lesson to all the young men who would seek to help such a damsel in distress.
Can she apply for bishop?
What a great follow up to the Fr. Corapi story. I would love to see her run him down with that John Deere until he gets his soul in order. There’s nothing like a Granny on a John Deere to put the fear of God into you.
If she were really tough, she wouldn’t be sitting down….
Just kidding!

I always thought that when I turned 93 I’d just settle for my rocking chair and shawl. Now that looks too tame. You’ve ruined my future retirement! (Maybe I’ll take up skydiving….)
I think that tractor’s a little slow for her…how about a Ferrari for her birthday?
God Bless Her!
She has* a tractor! Amazing! I could just imagine her driving it! Awesomeness runs in your family! God bless her! 🙂
Wow – what a blessing!
