Be envious, everybody.

Jimmy was born in Texas, grew up nominally Protestant, but at age 20 experienced a profound conversion to Christ. Planning on becoming a Protestant seminary professor, he started an intensive study of the Bible. But the more he immersed himself in Scripture the more he found to support the Catholic faith, and in 1992 he entered the Catholic Church. His conversion story, "A Triumph and a Tragedy," is published in Surprised by Truth. Besides being an author, Jimmy is the Senior Apologist at Catholic Answers, a contributing editor to Catholic Answers Magazine, and a weekly guest on "Catholic Answers Live." Sorry Jim, can’t be enviousness in Oxford and Winfield Ks. SRO at Oxford and some have to walk 2 to 3 blks because of lack of parking.
Envious doesn’t begin to cover it — we got 3 inches of snow last night, and the current outdoor temp is 29 degrees Farenheit 🙁
Not envious. Sympathetic. I’m in the deep South at the moment, and am really missing winter weather. Short-sleeves and humidity in December?! Sacrilege! Give me some snow, please!
It was 81 in Dallas yesterday. The high today was about 54. I really need to be in a place with consistently cold weather. These recurring heat waves in mid-December make me very, very cranky. I think I’ll go back to England!
Envious? Of not having snow? Why? Snow rocks.
Didn’t we have beautiful weather today Jimmy? It was a bit nippy when I left for the 7:30am Mass but still very nice day today.
So much for the rain they were calling for huh?
About the same time this was taken, in Japan, a load of sailors were walking to the base chapel for safety standdown…. in the light snow… it was about 35f…. dark…. and the wind ripped off the sea, damp and cold as Scrooges’ midnight London….
Wow, snowy here in Western NY. But I’m not jealous. I love the snow.
I love the variety the northeastern weather provides. The only thing I don’t like is paying the heating bills.
Can’t really be jealous, Jimmy. I only live 6 hours north of you 😉
I. am. so. jealous!!!
I’m just a little bit jealous. Because later today, I am going to be in Rome, Italy. (It’ll rain there all week tho.)
I’m not the slightest bit jealous. There’s snow in New Jersey – YEAH!! And that’s the way it’s supposed to be in December. Well, at least in the Northern Hemispere.
I lived in No CA for 31 years and don’t miss the lack of seasons one little bit.
I’m not jealous…in less than two weeks I’ll be going back to that horrible weather, and leaving beautiful Ireland.
I am VERY envious!! In the DC area, it was cold and gray. If it’s going to be cold, I want it to snow. Unfortunately, it doesn’t snow all that much over here. When it does, then it’s just lovely.
I wouldn’t be able to handle the sameness. I like changing seasons. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
I’m jelous. It’s 5 degrees here today and snowy, it’s supposed to get up to a balmy 9 but we will see. Gotta love Minnesota winters.
envious about what?
that the air is just as hazy as it was when I used to live there? or that there is nowhere to park due to 30 million living between San Ysidro and Santa Barbara?
Looks a lot like Melbourne – Australia after Mass on Sunday.
I live in Tampa, Florida and our weather has been just as beautiful! I love my FL Christmases and wouldn’t trade them in for the world! Give me warmth, beaches, and palm trees any day, any time of the year!!!
Nope, I ain’t evious, Jimmy, coz I live in your neck of the woods, and it is gorgeous every time!
