SANTA CLAUS CONQUERS THE MARTIANS . . . MST3K STYLE!

Funniest Christmas episode of any series . . . ever!

Have watched it regularly every Christmas for several years.

In the words of Crow T. Robot, "There’s no tradition like a new tradition!"

Author: Jimmy Akin

Jimmy was born in Texas, grew up nominally Protestant, but at age 20 experienced a profound conversion to Christ. Planning on becoming a Protestant seminary professor, he started an intensive study of the Bible. But the more he immersed himself in Scripture the more he found to support the Catholic faith, and in 1992 he entered the Catholic Church. His conversion story, "A Triumph and a Tragedy," is published in Surprised by Truth. Besides being an author, Jimmy is the Senior Apologist at Catholic Answers, a contributing editor to Catholic Answers Magazine, and a weekly guest on "Catholic Answers Live."

  1. Oh, yeah! Bo-mar and Gir-mar!
That is about as unintentionally hilarious as Plan 9 From Outer Space.
Gir-mar was a young Pia Zadora, BTW, in what remains her strongest performance.

  2. I dunno, the one they did a few years later, “Santa Claus” (described by an irate TV’s Frank as “a stupid, Mexican, kid’s movie”), is pretty hilarious, too. Not the least because of it’s contention that Santa’s greatest rival was a prancing, crimson-pantalooned devil named Pitch. Creepy, disturbing and funny at the same time. What more could one ask of an MST3K flick?
