Kentucky speaking event

Just a note to let folks know that tomorrow (Saturday) at 10 AM I’m going to be speaking in Hopkinsville, Kentucky at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church at 902 E 9th Street.

Look forward to seeing anyone who can make it!

Author: Jimmy Akin

Jimmy was born in Texas, grew up nominally Protestant, but at age 20 experienced a profound conversion to Christ. Planning on becoming a Protestant seminary professor, he started an intensive study of the Bible. But the more he immersed himself in Scripture the more he found to support the Catholic faith, and in 1992 he entered the Catholic Church. His conversion story, "A Triumph and a Tragedy," is published in Surprised by Truth. Besides being an author, Jimmy is the Senior Apologist at Catholic Answers, a contributing editor to Catholic Answers Magazine, and a weekly guest on "Catholic Answers Live."

  1. I just went to Father Corapi Last weekend in Lexington Ky, I can’t make two conferences in a row. Good luck and God Bless.

  2. Where can we get a list of where catholic apologists (from catholic answers) will be? Cause that’s only 4 hours from me!

  3. Jayson,
It’s listed on the Catholic Answers website, but it’s very hard to find. Even though I have found the speaking schedule there in the past, I always have difficulty finding it when I go to look for it again. If Jimmy is reading this, perhaps he can mention something to the web designer about making the speaking schedules easier to find?

  4. Specifically, the schedule is here:
    http://www.catholic.com/seminars/schedule.asp
To get to it, you have to click on the Seminars tab, and then click on Schedules in the menu on the left-hand side of the page. It sounds easy (just two clicks), but for some reason I always have trouble finding it, because I’m looking in the left-hand menu to start with. And then even when I do find the Seminars tab, it takes me a moment to locate the “Schedule” link.
