Pacifists Turn Violent To Create Growing Climate Of Fear

Some have remarked that the American Left is creating a new climate of fear in which people who express contrary points of view may have their property vandalized and even their persons attacked.

It’s true.

HERE’S AN EXAMPLE.

AND ANOTHER.

AND YET MORE.

AND MORE.

Author: Jimmy Akin

Jimmy was born in Texas, grew up nominally Protestant, but at age 20 experienced a profound conversion to Christ. Planning on becoming a Protestant seminary professor, he started an intensive study of the Bible. But the more he immersed himself in Scripture the more he found to support the Catholic faith, and in 1992 he entered the Catholic Church. His conversion story, "A Triumph and a Tragedy," is published in Surprised by Truth. Besides being an author, Jimmy is the Senior Apologist at Catholic Answers, a contributing editor to Catholic Answers Magazine, and a weekly guest on "Catholic Answers Live."

  1. You could test this by going to Hillcrest or the Gaslamp district on a Friday night with the proper pro-Bush paraphenalia.

  2. “He hit me in the back of the head. I fell and hit the ground. I was knocked unconscious and he continued to punch and kick me on the ground.”
    That’s horrible!

  3. I’m surprised you had no link mentioning the antics of ‘protesters’ at the Republican Convention. I don’t recall hearing about any such tactics at the Democratic Convention. The assaults, both verbal and physical, were an appalling commentary on the moral degeneracy of the Democratic Left (which is pretty much the whole party, isn’t it?)

  4. Y’know, it just struck me how overwhelmingly absurd it is to “protest” the Republican convention. Are they protesting the right of Republicans to select a candidate, or what? “Rioters” would be a somewhat more appropriate name.

  5. This type of behavior is absolutely deplorable.
The poor little girl. Now her father has to go home and tell her how disgusting some people will act on behalf of their beliefs.

  6. Well, it seems to be true for both sides. I remember before the war began there was a peaceful anti-war protest at Eastern Kentucky Univ. that turned ugly when they were attacked.

  7. The poor little girl.
Poor little girl, exploited by her dad to push his politics.
