Even when the press is there, it doesn’t cover them. I saw only a little of the convention and even on MSNBC they had commentary when people were giving speeches. (Except, for some reason, when they had “Rev.” Al on.)
So I guess you didn’t see the part in Catholic Wonderboy™’s speech where he compared the cure-all-wonders of fetal stem cell research to the march of human progress at Kitty Hawk, and pledged bags full of federal taxpayer money to destroy human embryos (even though he’s “personally” against stuff like that because he has a “deep personal faith”) unlike that other guy who “doesn’t believe in science”. At least that’s what I think he said when I was watching it…it was hard to hear him, what with the deafening roar of applause and orgy of celebration that the line got out of the “profoundly moderate” crowd.
You must have also missed the part when a priest of our Lord’s One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, the bride of Christ, made it clear to the millions of viewers around the country and the world that it’s okay to be Catholic and “pro-choice” by blessing this convention of the party that “stands proudly for a woman’s right to choose, consistent with Roe v. Wade, and regardless of her ability to pay … and stands firmly against [that other party’s] efforts to undermine that right.”
You missed out on all the fun Jimmy!
