Cool celestial light show for New Year's Eve.
Author: Jimmy Akin
Jimmy was born in Texas, grew up nominally Protestant, but at age 20 experienced a profound conversion to Christ. Planning on becoming a Protestant seminary professor, he started an intensive study of the Bible. But the more he immersed himself in Scripture the more he found to support the Catholic faith, and in 1992 he entered the Catholic Church. His conversion story, "A Triumph and a Tragedy," is published in Surprised by Truth. Besides being an author, Jimmy is the Senior Apologist at Catholic Answers, a contributing editor to Catholic Answers Magazine, and a weekly guest on "Catholic Answers Live." If you have a time-lapse setting one your digital camera, you can record the dance of these objects. If you have a digital camera, a tripod, and a pair of binoculars, you can mount the camera and get really good pictures. If you have a cmos camera mounted to a telescope and ported to a computer, then send me some pictures 🙁
Oh, you need clear skies for this (but watch out for condensation). We will have clear skies, here in the chicken coop, but the temperature will be 10 degrees – 15 degrees F.
