This one’s easy…Tatooine!
The Church of the Annunciation?
The set of the new Planet of the Apes?
Luke! Come in and have some blue milk!
Tatouine, while a good guess, is not strictly speaking accurate.
See how specific y’all can get.
Also, FWIW, it’s really cool to be able to be where I am now, take this picture, upload it to the blog, and immediately have folks guessing the location a good chunk of a world away.
The high tech quality of that is so in contrast with the -er- rustic setting.
The set of the home of the Lars family as seen in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. Don’t know if the set pictured here is a rebuild of the original seen in Star Wars: A New Hope or not. They may have kept it in storage for all I know. The set was, I believe built at the Elstree Studios in London. Either that, or they built it on site in Tunisia where the Tatooine exteriors were filmed.
Dear Jimmy
I had to check the cruise website, to see which one you were talking about, and I found the place below on the itinerary page.
Oct. 13
Mon
Gabes, Tunisia
Since, as Tim above said, Star Wars was filmed in Tunisia, I think that’s Tatooine indeeed! If I were a Star Wars geek, I could be more specific.
And I said that as a joke, thinking that you were in Israel or the surrounding area…
Does that mean that the picture was also uploaded through the iPhone, or just taken with it?
Jimmy, be careful if the group makes a stop at Mos Eisley spaceport. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.
Ha! Tatooinans don’t wear blue suede boots!
Similar to the entity known as Vaal, discovered on Gamma Trianguli VI, a prototype has been discovered here on Earth.

Obi-Wan had clearly never been to Congress. . .

Ah ha, I’ve got it! Tatouine was in two of the original three movies. This must be Tatouine in Return of the Jedi, not, A New Hope. I don’t see the sand monster, though. Jimmy must have carefully edited his picture.
Oh, and have your guys on the cruse seen a camel, yet?
The Chicken
Ahem, that’s, cruise.
The Chicken
Here I was going to guess it was one of the California missions, built into the side of a mountain for some reason.
Whatever it is, it’s a whitewash!
Brian
Chicken,
Tatooine was in all three of the prequels as well.
I wouldn’t believe the photo if it weren’t for the boot. I think the previous 4 photos are fakes.
LarryD,
Actually, Jimmy’s boot is in mystery picture #4. It is behind the head of the guy with the hat on, poised to kick him for his lack of decorum!
A recent excavation site of the lost hobbit tribe of Mesopatamia, as seen by Lucas McCain.
“A recent excavation site of the lost hobbit tribe of Mesopatamia…”
Pretty funny, Dan!
Its spelled TATOOINE.
Cinecitta’?
