Where am I now?
CHT to Steve Ray for assistance with this one!
Author: Jimmy Akin
Jimmy was born in Texas, grew up nominally Protestant, but at age 20 experienced a profound conversion to Christ. Planning on becoming a Protestant seminary professor, he started an intensive study of the Bible. But the more he immersed himself in Scripture the more he found to support the Catholic faith, and in 1992 he entered the Catholic Church. His conversion story, "A Triumph and a Tragedy," is published in Surprised by Truth. Besides being an author, Jimmy is the Senior Apologist at Catholic Answers, a contributing editor to Catholic Answers Magazine, and a weekly guest on "Catholic Answers Live." Ephesus.
Nice shot of the boot.
In front of the library at Ephesus.
Jimmy: Do you ever get funny looks when you take these photos with your boot in them?
The Roman Forum?
Jimmy, can I make a request that you have Steve Ray take a picture of you taking a picture of your boot. It would be interesting to see the look on people’s faces.
Take care and God bless,
Inocencio

I think jimmy usually sits to take the picture (unless he’s really flexible), so for someone just glancing over it would look like he’s stretching his legs. It looks like he had nowhere to sit for this one, which is why he needed help taking it.
Is it Petra in Jordan?
God bless you
Oooh, ooooh, Meesta Kotta….
It’s the facade of the library at Ephesus.
I was actually disappointed when I found out it was reconstructed. I originally thought it was still standing that way. 🙁
Where am I now?
Hopefully, not still there. Its been hours, since that picture was taken.
Barbara, was that Epstein or Horshack?
Darn, I hate it when I’ve seen it before, but I can’t remember which place it is!
Um … so a guess it is…
Ephesus – Library
On the third planet from the sun
Your ancestral home, which was stolen from you by the… um, Druids.
I was originally going to guess Jordan, but I think that stuff is carved right out of the rock. Therefore I’m going to jump on the bandwagon and say the Library at Ephesus, not that I even knew such a library existed and I imagined Ephesus as whiter rock. Something about the name sounds white to me. Never been closer to that area than Germany (or Russia, whichever’s closer) though so I don’t know anything.
In an awkward and undignified position.
It was less emotionally jarring to see just a boot ‘tip’ in your previous Carmen San diego-esque photos. This one looks like you’re levitating.
I need to sit down; I’m feeling faint…….
“One, two, three, kick!”
Well, Jimmy is a dancer…
I was going to guess forum, but I don’t recognize it and I was just in Rome a month ago. Wherever this is, it’s somewhere we didn’t go (unless it’s the forum).

Gilbert
Looks like you’re in the process of falling backwards down the stairs. Hope you didn’t break anything!
Monica: LOL!!!!!
That boot has authority written all over it. I wonder if the pope ever considered buying a pair?
Wonderful ostrich (?) leather boots in front of the ruins of the library at Ephesus.
Somewhere in Asia? Doesn’t look Mediteranian (sp?), too much fru-fru on top.

Not sure where you are, but go easy on the alcohol. Thanks Steve Ray for assisting Jimmy back to the ship and keeping him out of trouble.
Barbara, was that Epstein or Horshack?
It was Horshack.
Jimmy have fun! Hope all is well! You should guess where WE all are! (*having a party at your house*)
