Kryptonite Found In Serbia!

It’s true!

GET THE STORY!

NOTE: Fortunately, it seems to be white kryptonite, which is only deadly to plants, so our planet’s Kryptonian defender seems to be safe. . . . for the moment!

Author: Jimmy Akin

Jimmy was born in Texas, grew up nominally Protestant, but at age 20 experienced a profound conversion to Christ. Planning on becoming a Protestant seminary professor, he started an intensive study of the Bible. But the more he immersed himself in Scripture the more he found to support the Catholic faith, and in 1992 he entered the Catholic Church. His conversion story, "A Triumph and a Tragedy," is published in Surprised by Truth. Besides being an author, Jimmy is the Senior Apologist at Catholic Answers, a contributing editor to Catholic Answers Magazine, and a weekly guest on "Catholic Answers Live."

  1. Hm. They identified it as “kryptonite” based on last year’s Superman Returns film. However, comics continuity often differs from film continuity, and I don’t recall seeing any other “flavor” of kryptonite in the films.

  2. I was under the impression that kryptonite was really just a green-tinted plastic shell with a light-bulb inside it. At least, I’m pretty sure that’s what it was in the first Superman movie. . . .
