Word has arrived of the birth of a six-legged lamb in Belgium.
EXCERPT:
The report said Maurice Peeters, a Belgian farmer, noticed there was something different about the lamb born on his ranch over the weekend.
"The vet immediately put his hand on it, and asked me if I’d seen it," Peeters told reporters who visited his home. "I said I’d seen it and I said I’d seen it has way too many legs."
GET THE STORY.
(Just kidding about that insect thing.)

They’re going to remove two legs…is it absolutely necessary for his physical well being, to do so ?
God Bless.
I love this stuff.
I, too, wonder why two legs have to go.
They are probably removing two legs because the lack of space between the legs makes it hard or impossible to walk. That’s just me speculating, though.
It would be *really* cool to see a six legged lamb prancing around!
Oh, yeah, and if you’ll notice, it looks like the lamb has four legs on one side and two on the other. Not exactly symmetrical.
Insect?
Then … can we eat it on Fridays in Lent?
I like leg of lamb. This could be the wave of the future.
“This could be the wave of the future.”
Yeah, I hear the Tyson people have called, already. Just imagine six-legged chickens!
Sure does make me want to go out and drink the water in that town!!
No, no, Tim… Tyson isn’t secretly breeding six-legged chickens, they’re breeding boneless chickens.
By the way, anyone tried the new “Buttered Lobster Bites” at Long John Silver’s yet? Are they for real? Any good?
Two extra eyes or ears–now, that could have been helpful–Easier to walk too.
I thought the Lamb of God was supposed to have extra eyes and horns, not extra legs.
However, I’m really disappointed that they’re not naming the lil’ guy Sheepnir….
Hmmm… if mutations are supposed to make a species better, then why take the legs off? I mean, obviously those legs evolved for a good reason. This is the lamb of the future!
Fr. Stephanos, my grandma tried them, and said they were awful. Mostly breading, and the lobster wasn’t that great. But, she also complains that most lobster doesn’t taste enough like iodine. *shrug*
Mmmmm…roasted leg of lamb….
