The third moon of Jaglan-Beta?
Yellowstone?
About to step into a really big puddle of mud?
The mud caves near Agua Caliente county park, in the Anza Borrego Desert.
Yellowstone would be my first guess. Although California has its share of geo-thermal spots. Mt. Lassen, perhaps?
PUTTING A SMILEY FACE AFTER A VULGAR COMMENT DOESN’T MAKE IT POLITE, REALIST.
STRIKE ONE.
Can’t be Yellowstone b/c u can’t get that close to the mud pots there
Lassen NP certainly has very similar-looking sulphur pits… (It’s Mt. Shasta, BTW, not Mt. Lassen.) 🙂
You’re near some sort of natural mud baths or hot springs, right? Are you in Calistoga? Quaint little town in the heart of a thriving metropolis. Spendy, too. Palm Springs has some, if memory serves. And there’re some in the Santa Ana mountains, too.
But you don’t stirke me as the spa sort of fella, Jimmy!
May not be fair for a geologist to answer this, but looks like the Salton Sea “mud pots” or “mud volcanoes” near Niland, California.
If that’s your foot at the bottom then there isn’t nearly enough information.
Bumpas Hell, on Mount Lassen, right?
Broken water pipe in your front yard? Did you forget to call the utility company before you started digging there?
Right now, or in the picture? :>
You are behind your camera.
King Kong’s foot imprint?
Inside the temple of doom?
I’m gonna guess that they geologist is right and it’s somewhere near Salton Sea — anyway those look like your old boots 🙂
I pray I’m wrong. But you’re not trapped inside the bowels of a turducken are you?
ANSWER HERE.
The audio posts are cool.
I like the part where you got mud on your boot.
Adds a little moment of drama, especially since you have posted about your boots before, making us all more emotionally invested.
I’d hate to see your boots ruined, just when they are good and broke-in.
