Got back from the 4th annual Catholic Answers cruise yesterday.
It was a long, rewarding, and exhausting trip. Things went very well. We were particularly pleased with how well the personal interaction with and among the attendees went this year.
It was a special treat to meet a couple of folks on the cruise who identified themselves as readers of the blog!
More on the trip in the next few days.
Blogging may be a little slow today (Monday) while I recover (I’m writing this Sunday night, per my usual practice), but I’ll make sure to get a few posts up.
Muchas gracias to my co-bloggers for helping to fill the gap while I was gone!

Jimmy was born in Texas, grew up nominally Protestant, but at age 20 experienced a profound conversion to Christ. Planning on becoming a Protestant seminary professor, he started an intensive study of the Bible. But the more he immersed himself in Scripture the more he found to support the Catholic faith, and in 1992 he entered the Catholic Church. His conversion story, "A Triumph and a Tragedy," is published in Surprised by Truth. Besides being an author, Jimmy is the Senior Apologist at Catholic Answers, a contributing editor to Catholic Answers Magazine, and a weekly guest on "Catholic Answers Live."

Kudos to Michelle Arnold for all the interesting posts while Jimmy was gone.
I contributed nothing but comments in Jimmy’s absence, as I was locked in mortal combat with my own nascent web page. I was also sick for several days, and I can only figure that I picked up Michelle’s bug through one of her posts.
This is why it is so important to wash before and after blogging.
Welcome back! Some really lively posting discussions broke out while you were gone – and your fellow bloggers did a great job – but we missed your input. Hope you had a good time.
Amen, Jimmy! It was a great cruise. I’m trying to recover, too. I feel a little light-headed,like I’m still walking on the deck of a ship with that variable gravity that ships have. As the Happenings sang: “See you in September.”
Welcome back Jimmy
Oh, were you gone?
