B16 Bumper Sticker!

Cowboy hat tip to the reader who sent in the following bumper-sticker (one of two I’ve seen based on the new pope).

I’m seriously thinking about printing this out and affix it to my pickup.

  1. Rich,
Similar to that, some Pakistani journalist wrote a piece describing the horrors that will be waged by Bush, Blair, and Benedict. I believe it’s on Ignatius Insight.

  2. What is implied by the term “cafeteria catholic” and why? (I´am not from the US)

  3. “Does this imply criticism of John Paul II? As if somehow the “cafeteria” was open prior to Benedict?”
No, I think that John Paul was the “love” Pope. He gathered everyone together. Now we have the “truth” Pope who will lay down the law a little bit more. Of course, both were about love and truth, but they have different strengths.

  4. Miguel,
“Cafeteria” Catholic refers to one who picks and chooses which teachings and beliefs of Church they believe and like and disregard those they don’t or disagree with. Hence, here in the States we have many Catholics who use contraception, directly or indirectly support abortion rights, cohabitate and commit fornication prior to marriage, don’t see anything wrong with active homosexuality, etc.

  5. Has anyone come up with the address to where I can purchase this bumper sticker! It kind of sums it all up!

  6. I really like this and would love one to put on my truck! I know it can be done on a computer but I don’t know how. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. I’m wondering if you can print out the sticker and have a photocopy shop copy it onto “bumper sticker stock”.

  8. Purchase Info:
First of all, Thank you for the positive response to the bumper sticker. I loved Benedict xvi quote when I read it and wanted it be seen by all. Know your faith! Live it to the fullest!
I’ll post the purchase info tomorrow (Friday). I’m still getting the bugs out of the link. I want to make sure it’s a quality printed sticker. T-shirts and mugs will also be available.
    Thanks Jimmy for posting it!
