OTTAWA — The Rapture occurred March 31, 2005, at 9:43 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time and took both people on the planet whose theology was exactly correct.

I have always thought that to be an amusing thought about the rapture concept: How will anyone know when it occurs, because those preaching it assume they ‘won’t be left behind’?
I had an arguement with a protestant on this once where I remarked that if I suddenly found a large number of “christians” missing, I would most certainly “repent” and line up with their theology. She replied that I wouldn’t. Her denominations position was that the people “left behind” were hosed. Period. I never never understood that. I think it’s safe to say there are as many theories on the rapture as there are believers in the rapture. Where’s a magisterium when you need one?
Nuts! I never get invited to these things.
