Congrats, buddy [on your fixed blogiversary]! You have been an inspiration to me for a long time, and now I have been inspired to start my own blog concerning Christianity and the arts (esp. Catholicism and Visual arts).
Any advice?
Yes, three pieces:

Get a real blog that has permalinks and automated archives, not one you design yourself. (Hear me,
In Light Of The Law?)

Jimmy was born in Texas, grew up nominally Protestant, but at age 20 experienced a profound conversion to Christ. Planning on becoming a Protestant seminary professor, he started an intensive study of the Bible. But the more he immersed himself in Scripture the more he found to support the Catholic faith, and in 1992 he entered the Catholic Church. His conversion story, "A Triumph and a Tragedy," is published in Surprised by Truth. Besides being an author, Jimmy is the Senior Apologist at Catholic Answers, a contributing editor to Catholic Answers Magazine, and a weekly guest on "Catholic Answers Live."

Is an Atom feed good enough?
Publius,
Atom feeds are good enough and normally when people mention RSS feeds that includes Atom. This was not as true initially, but now almost every aggregator supports the Atom format.
Jeff,
Thanks.
Thanks for the tips! I’ve also started a new blog just 2 weeks ago, but I haven’t linked to your posts as yet. I’ll fix that soon.
Hi Jimmy! Your decision to use little ole yours truly as a whipping boy example of a bad blog set up has, ironically, sent about, oh, a hundred people over my way to day! Sorry to be such a bad example. I am a worry to my friends. Best, edp.
LOL! Yes. Atom is just fine. 🙂
Hey, thanks alot! I will make sure to do things the right way when I do start up. I am “technologically challenged”, though, so I will have to learn as I go.
