. . . Mark Steyn argues two points:
1) All the discussion about whether we have an "exit strategy" in Iraq is misdirected, and
2) The real source of the Democrats’ rage at the redstaters is not that the redstaters are too stupid but that they aren’t stupid enough.

Jimmy was born in Texas, grew up nominally Protestant, but at age 20 experienced a profound conversion to Christ. Planning on becoming a Protestant seminary professor, he started an intensive study of the Bible. But the more he immersed himself in Scripture the more he found to support the Catholic faith, and in 1992 he entered the Catholic Church. His conversion story, "A Triumph and a Tragedy," is published in Surprised by Truth. Besides being an author, Jimmy is the Senior Apologist at Catholic Answers, a contributing editor to Catholic Answers Magazine, and a weekly guest on "Catholic Answers Live."

I think this is right on the money. The Libs want to parse and call into question every statement Bush makes while insisting that we all take Kerry (or Hillary, or whomever) at 100% face value. We are not supposed to be able to see past the spin. There was no position that Kerry was not on both sides of this last go around, and that rightly makes folks suspicious.
Mark Steyn is Canadian, eh?
