Roe v. Roe v. Wade

NORMA MCCORVEY (a.k.a. JANE ROE) ASKS THE SUPREMES TO REVERSE ROE v. WADE.

Unfortunately, the votes to overturn aren’t there yet.

But in four years, they could be.

Author: Jimmy Akin

Jimmy was born in Texas, grew up nominally Protestant, but at age 20 experienced a profound conversion to Christ. Planning on becoming a Protestant seminary professor, he started an intensive study of the Bible. But the more he immersed himself in Scripture the more he found to support the Catholic faith, and in 1992 he entered the Catholic Church. His conversion story, "A Triumph and a Tragedy," is published in Surprised by Truth. Besides being an author, Jimmy is the Senior Apologist at Catholic Answers, a contributing editor to Catholic Answers Magazine, and a weekly guest on "Catholic Answers Live."

  1. I wonder whether Norma’s timing is so good. She likely only gets one shot at this, so why now, when she knows that she doesn’t have the votes?
Her lawyers (Protestants, all) came to the DC-area Catholic Charismatic Mother of God community (literally a community, not a limp-wristed name for a parish) last weekend to participate in a three-day prayer marathon for the cause. I hope they’re successful, but I don’t think they’re as wise as a serpent.

  2. But in four years, they could be.
One year to go… and that seems pretty derned unlikely.
Maybe that is why Jane Roe has recently endorced Ron Paul.
