I don’t think the Dems. are in as bad a shape as they look. Let’s remember that Kerry got 49% of the vote. The last time Dems. put up unreconstucted leftists (in 70 & 88) they did much worse.
I’ve always enjoyed reading/listening to Morton Kondracke. He’s been quite forthright about how his Christian faith helped him during his wife’s illness and subsequent death. It’s nice to see this opinion from him. He has a good point.
I love the McLaughlin group! Mort isn’t on there anymore, though. But Pat Buchanan is excellent!
