Planning on becoming a Protestant seminary professor, he started an intensive study of the Bible. I’m sorry, Jimmy — I wasn’t being sarcastic. I thought the comment was hilarious! Of course, I took Jake to be criticizing some of what happened AFTER the Council, not as criticizing the Council itslef, which you seem to think he meant. As a person raised entirely inside this pontificate, I strive to see Vatican II fully realized, like our Holy Father. I hope this clarifies the comment!
