Jimmy was born in Texas, grew up nominally Protestant, but at age 20 experienced a profound conversion to Christ. Planning on becoming a Protestant seminary professor, he started an intensive study of the Bible. But the more he immersed himself in Scripture the more he found to support the Catholic faith, and in 1992 he entered the Catholic Church. His conversion story, "A Triumph and a Tragedy," is published in Surprised by Truth. Besides being an author, Jimmy is the Senior Apologist at Catholic Answers, a contributing editor to Catholic Answers Magazine, and a weekly guest on "Catholic Answers Live."

  1. Thanks for Mass Revision. I was though a little disappointed. I was, maybe presumptuously, hoping that the book would address in a more apologetic way, both the general and specific changes associate with the coming changes. While the upcoming changes are noted there is sparse if any apologetic given that will help address the concerns and why questions I think many of the faithful will have.
    The book feels more like a expanded Mass Confusion, with a new name, then a delving into the significant upcoming revisions.
    I thank you for this expanded resource, but am, like I’ve said, a little disappointed on the content dealing with the upcoming changes.
