    So is this why some people wrongly claim that Constantine “changed” the Christian day of rest from Saturday to Sunday?  Due to a misunderstanding of this act?
     
    IIRC, the ancient Romans didn’t have a day of rest.  In fact, I remember reading somewhere that pagan Romans thought that Jews wasted a whole day resting when they could have been productively working!  I, for one, am quite happy we have weekends. 🙂
