Failfree, The Alamo Fell On March 6, 1836. I know this because I was awakened from my Wedding Bed by the Sound of Gun Shots at Dawn the Night after my wedding Reception. BTW I proposed to my wife on the North Niche of the Front of the Alamo. If you’re ever in San Antonio, Take the Time to visit San Fernando Cathedral. In the Narthex of the Church there is a “columbarium” containing remains/cremains of the Alamo defenders. As Santa Ana had a “Take no Prisoners” attitude the pyres following the battle were used to rid Mexico of a “problem”
