Grandmother in hospice

This morning I was informed that my grandmother–Rosalee Octava–who is 98, has requested to be put on hospice care.

She has been living on her own until now, but recently she got pneumonia and has been weakening.

I appreciate your prayers for her and for my family.

Thank you all.

  1. Out of the depths, I call to you, LORD;
    Lord, hear my cry! May your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
    If you, LORD, keep account of sins, Lord, who can stand?
    But with you is forgiveness and so you are revered.

    I wait for the LORD, my soul waits and I hope for his word.
    My soul looks for the Lord more than sentinels for daybreak.
    More than sentinels for daybreak, let Israel hope in the LORD,
    For with the LORD is mercy,with him is plenteous redemption,
    And he will redeem Israel from all its sins.

  2. Oh Father of goodness and love, hear our prayers for Rosalee Octava.
    May she find consolation in your healing presence and mercy.
    We ask this through the Lord Jesus
    Amen.

  5. Sorry that it is only now , I opened this email.Sure I will pray for her too.My mom is also now in her acute stage of Pneumonia at the age of 85 to be 86 this April.But it is already extension life, since we pray for her arms back when she got it with some little complication too.And In fact financially poor,it is hard to maintain such all medicines she needs.Though God is so good to us, I am now presenting her to rest to God bec.of such many pains she had and could not eat any more. but if God wishes her to be healed then wonderful.A little touch on her body makes her ache.May the care of our BVM guide her too.with prayers, Patty
