  1. We sure could use him now. Instead, we have Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Andrew Cuomo etc. in key positions undermining the Catholic faith. Lord, have mercy.

  2. Great examples for our current times.  Highly recommend that folks check out the film A Man for All Seasons.  Another really good portrayal of St. More is ironically and surprisingly HBO’s The Tudors by Jeremy Northam.  While the show has some general animosity towards the Catholic Church and a strange representation of Paul III by Peter O’Toole, the portrayal of Thomas More and Bishop Fisher are very sympathetic and well done.  For a Cliff’s Notes version, if anyone has streaming Netflix, they can check out Episode 5 of Season 2 for the final moments, trial and execution of Fisher and More.  The rest of the show is a bit heavy on the sex and other HBO normalcy, so I’d watch out for that.  But either way, a great example of standing up for your faith in a few of the episodes.
