Author: Jimmy Akin

Jimmy was born in Texas, grew up nominally Protestant, but at age 20 experienced a profound conversion to Christ. Planning on becoming a Protestant seminary professor, he started an intensive study of the Bible. But the more he immersed himself in Scripture the more he found to support the Catholic faith, and in 1992 he entered the Catholic Church. His conversion story, "A Triumph and a Tragedy," is published in Surprised by Truth. Besides being an author, Jimmy is the Senior Apologist at Catholic Answers, a contributing editor to Catholic Answers Magazine, and a weekly guest on "Catholic Answers Live."

  1. Jimmy, there’s an option on Amazon, ‘Publisher: learn how customers can search inside this book.’ Basically, you can allow customers to preview your book beforehand, just like in the store. Why not?

  2. The paperback version is being handled through a distributor, so we don’t have direct control of that.
The Kindle version, however, we do have direct control of, and you can get a sample of the Kindle edition free by clicking the “Send Sample Now” button in the right hand margin of the Kindle version’s page on Amazon.
If I understand correctly, you’ll get the first 10% of the book, which in this case would be like 46 pages of stuff (approximately).
    Hope this helps!

  3. Thank you Dan.
    Signed it.
As of The Feast of the Chair, EST 1100 hrs there are almost 10,000 signatures
